Let's hear if for the girls...
Anastasia Chomlack is a photographer living and working in Whistler, British Columbia - my hometown. On August 12th she is teaching a one day workshop for the Whistler Arts Council right here on home turf. (It's totally sold out!) I think you'll like her. Her family and wedding photography is unique and fresh.
I'm sure you'll heard of these girls - some of my favorite food photographers include Aran Goyoaga, Tara Donne and Helene Dujardin.
Lisa Occhipinti is an artist. Her most recent book, just published, called The Repurposed Library has 33 items crafted from books: learn to make wreaths, vases, shelves, storage boxes, and more.
I Was Here: A Travel Journal for the Curious Minded is a colorfully illustrated, guided travel journal by Kate Pocrass. It encourages the quirky and curious traveler to explore the insignificant details and wonders of the everyday.
I love the work of Sonia Delaunay - modernist painter, textile and stage designer and forebear of the Orphius art movement. Her work was recently in NYC - Color Moves: Art & Fashion By Sonia Delaunay
...and last but not least..
